I feel really grateful for the mission God has put me on this earth for and that is to create beauty that blesses others. Over the years that has looked like being a wedding + portrait photographer (Lovely Day Fleur), a home goods shop owner (Meadow Home Goods), and a calligrapher + illustrator. My work has been featured in places like Minnesota Bride, House Beautiful, Madewell and more. Art has always been my first love with my second love being an encouragement to others. Words have so much power to uplift and transform lives, similar to art. It's all intertwined so deeply for me. Which brings me to, really, the most transforming part of my life...

My husband and I have learned so much about resilience and the power of speaking the truth of God's word over our lives. During our first year of marriage, we lost our first baby to a miscarriage. Then, halfway through our second pregnancy, we discovered that our precious daughter, Lainey, had anencephaly. She passed away shortly after birth at 38 weeks. There have been struggles in our finances, tough seasons of marriage, as well as mental and physical health challenges through the years. But even in the midst of many unanswered prayers and the darkest of days, Jesus gave us HOPE.

It's truly incredible that what the enemy uses to harm us God uses for our good- to testify to His saving grace and love and power. Thank you Jesus! And now my story continues and though I don't know the future I do know that He is faithful. He brought me through it all and will continue to again and again, victoriously.

I want you to know that it is possible for you, too, to have hope, no matter what you are facing. That's why this new shop exists. I know sometimes it feels impossible, but nothing is impossible with God. He gives our pain a purpose and our stories provide hope for someone else. This is our journey of living the abundant life God has set out before us.
